Governance & Board
Empowering the next generation through spirituality, wisdom, and service.
Our Legal Foundation
The organisation’s journey began with The Spiritual Council in Africa, which was incorporated in South Africa as a Non-Profit Company on 8 March 2021.
On 20 March 2021, the organisation launched its first outreach programmes, choosing the United Nations’ International Day of Happiness as a meaningful date on which to begin its public service work. These early initiatives reflected a broader commitment to spiritual education, youth development, cultural preservation, philosophical exploration, African arts and community upliftment.
As the organisation developed, its work became increasingly centred on healing, education, meditation and practical community service. This evolution led to the establishment of Pranic Energy Healing Africa, which was formally incorporated as a Non-Profit Company on 25 April 2026.
Today, Pranic Energy Healing Africa carries this work forward through a clearer identity and a focused mission: to make energy-based healing, meditation and spiritual education more accessible across Africa while continuing to honour the wider non-profit purposes from which the organisation grew.
Through paid courses, healing services, books, guided meditations, events, donations and future sponsorships, PEH Africa sustains its educational and outreach programmes and works towards expanding free and low-cost access to healing, learning and community support.
Its long-term vision is to build a growing network of trained practitioners, teachers and service-minded individuals who can contribute to healthier, more conscious and more resilient communities across Africa.
Board of Directors
Valentina Cortini Nutt
Founder & Non-Executive Director
Valentina brings international experience gained across Italy, Kenya and South Africa, with a background in accounting, real estate, interior design, hospitality and holistic healing.
In 2021, she founded The Spiritual Council in Africa NPC and remains the sole original founder still actively involved in the organisation. She continues to guide its direction as its work develops under the identity of Pranic Energy Healing Africa.
Valentina has completed Pranic Energy Healing training from Level 1 through Level 5 and has been a certified TIIS instructor for the Pranic Energy Healing foundation courses since May 2025. Her work within the organisation also draws on her experience supporting people to recognise unresolved emotional patterns, shift limiting beliefs and develop greater emotional resilience and clarity.
She serves as an Advisory Member of United Consciousness, contributing to conversations around mindfulness, youth development and compassionate living.
Across her work, Valentina remains committed to making healing and spiritual education more accessible while helping to build communities grounded in awareness, responsibility and service.

He works closely with students, volunteers and participants, sharing practical knowledge that supports greater self-awareness, emotional balance and spiritual development.
Alongside his work in healing and education, Simone has a professional background in information technology and communications. He draws on this experience when supporting younger people, helping them develop practical skills alongside greater confidence, discipline and personal awareness.
His work brings together spiritual practice, teaching, technical knowledge and service, with a consistent focus on helping individuals and communities grow in resilience, responsibility and conscious living.
Galebonwe Kgosimotswedi
Director
Galebonwe Kgosimotswedi is a Pranic Energy Healing practitioner whose interest in spiritual development grew from a long-standing curiosity about the inner life and the deeper patterns that shape human experience.
After beginning her Pranic Energy Healing studies in 2022, she went on to complete Levels 1, 2 and 3, together with Path to Arhatship and Kriyashakti. Her training has strengthened her understanding of energy, spiritual practice and the disciplined inner work required for lasting growth.
Galebonwe also has a background in Social Science, with a focus on Psychology and Counselling, and is currently completing her Honours in Psychology. This allows her to bring psychological understanding and spiritual insight into the way she supports others.
Her work is grounded in compassion, careful listening and a sincere commitment to helping people develop greater clarity, emotional balance and trust in their own inner strength.
