Ma Charlotte Anderson
Life Partner · Devoted Student · Preserver of the Teachings
In Service to the Teachings
The late Ma Charlotte Anderson is honoured within our school as the life partner, spiritual companion, close collaborator and devoted student of Maha Atma Choa Kok Sui. Public sources connected to The Inner Sciences describe her as having spent the last fourteen years of his life constantly by his side, receiving daily personal training, guidance and instruction in both practical and spiritual teachings.
Through years of direct contact, service and close collaboration, she became one of the important repositories through which this stream of teaching was preserved, organised and carried forward. She is recognised as the founder of The Institute for Inner Sciences and as a compiler, transcriber and editor of several of Maha Atma Choa Kok Sui’s later works, as well as a collaborator on audio, magazine and educational projects connected to his teachings.
Her work was not only about preserving knowledge, but also about continuing a mission of service. Ma Charlotte Anderson is publicly recognised as a co-founder of Planetary Peace Movement International, founded in 1998 by Maha Atma Choa Kok Sui and Charlotte Anderson. Through this movement, the Planetary Peace Meditation, also known as the Meditation on Twin Hearts, was shared as a practice of blessing the Earth with loving-kindness, peace and goodwill.
For PEH Africa, this part of her legacy is deeply meaningful. It reminds us that meditation is not only a private spiritual practice, but also an act of service. When people gather to bless the Earth, their families, their communities and all beings, spiritual practice becomes a contribution to collective healing.
Ma Charlotte represents the bridge through which this stream of teaching has been received and carried forward within our school. Her life reminds us that spiritual education is not simply about learning techniques, but about preserving the integrity of the teachings, practising with humility and applying them in service to humanity.

A Life of Practice, Study and Service
Beyond her public role, Ma Charlotte Anderson is remembered for the depth of her practice, the seriousness of her study and the humility with which she carried her responsibilities. Those who worked within her stream of teaching often speak of her as someone who remained focused on the work itself rather than on personal recognition.
Her contribution was practical as well as spiritual. She helped preserve, organise and transmit teachings that had been shared through formal classes, personal instruction, informal conversations, books, recordings and other educational projects. In this way, her work made it possible for students to return to the teachings again and again, finding new depth through continued study and practice.
Her later work through The Institute for Inner Sciences reflected a clear intention: to keep spiritual education alive, accessible and meaningful for sincere students. For PEH Africa, this is the aspect of Ma Charlotte’s life that matters most. She reminds us that true spiritual service is not measured by status, but by devotion, discipline and the willingness to carry the work forward.
